Sanctuary Field Immersion · Six Weeks

Six slow weeks on the land, with someone you love beside you

When life hands you a serious diagnosis, everything can start to feel loud and fast. The Sanctuary Field Immersion is the opposite. It's six slow weeks in our home in Malacatos, in the Andes of southern Ecuador, where the days are simple, the food is fresh, and you and your companion are cared for through the whole day.

You wake to the fruit forest and the valley light. Juices are pressed fresh every hour. Soup simmers on the stove. You rest in the sun, warm up in the sauna, float in the pool or soak in the hot tub, and spend quiet time in sound with Sovara'el. And while you rest, the person who came with you learns the kitchen beside us, so the rhythm can come home with you both.

Who this is for

This immersion is for people walking through a serious diagnosis who have chosen to put their daily care first. It's for anyone who wants to spend six weeks somewhere quiet, nourished and well supported, alongside the care of their own medical team. And it's for the person who loves them: the partner, the sister, the grown son or daughter who wants to learn how to help.

It may be a good fit if:

  • your doctor knows about your plans and is comfortable with you traveling and changing how you eat for six weeks
  • you'd like to live a fresh, simple rhythm of juices, soups and whole meals
  • you're well enough to travel and to live in a home setting on the land
  • you're bringing one companion who wants to learn the kitchen with you
  • you're ready to follow the full daily regimen, every day, for all six weeks

The Ecuador kitchen: the heart of every day

The kitchen is the heart of the immersion, and it keeps its own gentle rhythm from morning to evening, right alongside everything else. It follows the Raw With Peace Living Laboratory Sanctuary rhythm of fresh juices, soups and whole meals, made here in Ecuador with local organic produce: carrots, apples, romaine and lettuce, greens and oranges for the juices, and apio (celery), onions, tomatoes, potatoes, garlic, parsley and leeks for the soup.

  • Fresh juice, every hour. Through the day, juice is pressed fresh each hour and brought to you: carrot-apple, green leaf, and citrus. Nothing is made ahead or bottled.
  • The sanctuary soup, twice a day. Local apio (celery), onions, tomatoes, potatoes, garlic and parsley, with leeks or extra onions when needed. No salt. Simmered slowly, then milled.
  • Whole meals. A fresh, simple rhythm of juices, soups and whole meals, prepared here at the sanctuary.

Your companion learns it by hand. Day by day, your companion works beside us and learns the full juicing and soup preparation. They go to the market, choose the produce, wash it, press the juices, simmer and mill the soup and keep the rhythm of the day. They learn the market names too: zanahoria (carrot), manzana (apple), apio (celery), perejil (parsley), ajo (garlic). By the end of the six weeks the rhythm lives in their hands, so it can carry on at home.

A protocols book with local ingredient notes. Your protocols book, Living Rainbow: The Sanctuary Kitchen, is included free with your stay: the hardcover and the digital edition are sent to you before you travel, so you can begin at home. It comes with notes on each local ingredient, so you know what to look for wherever you live.

All of it is woven with sound and frequency work with Sovara'el, time on the land and in the sun, red light and sauna.

A full day of hourly juices and twice-daily soup is a big change in how you eat. Please go over this rhythm with your doctor before you arrive, so it fits your care. We'll gladly adjust it to what your medical team advises and to your own dietary needs.

This is our own way: the Raw With Peace Living Laboratory Sanctuary rhythm, lived and made here on the land. It's a way of eating, not a therapy or treatment.

Sanctuary Field Immersion, six weeks on the land: fresh juice every hour, sanctuary soup twice a day, a companion who learns the kitchen, a protocols book, sound and frequency, land and sun, red light and sauna. $5,000 for the six weeks. Apply for a place, no fixed dates.

What the six weeks hold

Week 1 · Arrive and settle. You land, rest, and let the valley slow you down. The kitchen rhythm begins gently, and your companion meets the kitchen.

Week 2 · Learn the kitchen. Your companion joins the market trips and the morning prep: choosing, washing, pressing, chopping, starting the soup.

Week 3 · Find your rhythm. The days start to run on their own. Sun on the land, rest, sound sessions, and the pool, sauna and red light as your doctor allows.

Week 4 · Your companion takes the lead. Your companion prepares more of the day, and we're right there beside them.

Week 5 · Plan for home. We put together a written plan that fits your home kitchen: shopping lists, the equipment you'll need, and a weekly rhythm to go over with your medical team.

Week 6 · Carry it home. A last week of rest and a final kitchen day. You leave with your home plan, your book, and a companion who knows the way.

A day on the land

Juices keep coming fresh every hour, all through the day.

Your companion

A companion is required. Every guest comes with one person: a partner, family member or close friend who can speak for you if needed, and who learns the daily rhythm and your care so they can support you at home. While you rest, your companion learns the full juicing and soup preparation hands-on. The goal is simple. When you both fly home, the person beside you can keep the rhythm going, so you aren't carrying it alone.

Companion arrangements are discussed personally on the call. Your companion may stay with you or at an affordable place nearby, and we'll talk through room arrangements together.

What to bring and how to prepare

  • A short letter or summary from your doctor saying they know about your plans for these six weeks
  • A list of your medications, with enough for the whole stay plus extra
  • Contact details for your care team, and a plan for any check-ins or tests while you're away
  • Your travel health insurance details
  • Comfortable clothes, light layers for cool evenings, swimwear, a sun hat and walking shoes

Before you come, ask your doctor about the full daily rhythm: hourly juices and the twice-daily soup, along with heat from the sauna and hot tub, time in the sun, and red light. Their guidance comes first, and we'll shape the days around it.

Please talk with your doctor first

The Sanctuary Field Immersion is not medical care. We don't diagnose, treat or cure any illness, and nothing here replaces the care of your doctors. It's a quiet, nourishing place to live for six weeks while you keep your own care team at the center. Please talk with your doctor before you apply, and keep them close while you're here.

How to begin

  1. Apply. Send a detailed application. It's private, and Sovara'el reads every one herself.
  2. Talk. Sovara'el reads every application personally. If it feels like a fit, we'll invite you to a live Zoom or Google Meet call with her, you and your companion.
  3. Check with your doctor. You confirm that your doctor knows your plans.
  4. Reserve. Once you're welcomed in, we set your dates together and send you an invoice for the $1,000 deposit.
  5. Arrive. We'll be waiting for you on the land.

Priority goes to people who are unwell and committed to this way of living for the six weeks.

Dates and timing

There are no fixed dates. You apply first, then meet Sovara'el on a live Zoom or Google Meet call. Timing is set together, based on what's happening at the sanctuary and in your life. Each stay is customized to the guest.

Payment and cancellation

  • $5,000 for the six-week immersion.
  • A $1,000 non-refundable deposit holds your dates.
  • The remainder is due 30 days before arrival.
  • Everything is invoiced after you're accepted. There is no instant checkout.

Your $1,000 deposit holds your dates. When you reserve, we clear the calendar and turn others away so the land is ready for you, which is why the deposit is non-refundable. If plans change 90 days or more before you arrive, everything you've paid beyond the deposit is returned to you. Within 90 days of arrival we aren't able to offer refunds for any reason, and we're always glad to help you move your stay to a time that works or pass your place to someone you love.
